Perfectly Cheesy Garlic Bread

There are just times when you want something crispy, crunchy, that's also gooey and garlicy. This Cheesy Garlic Bread fits that bill.
This is no ordinary garlic bread. By adding onion powder to the garlic butter, you increase the garlic flavor. Additionally, by baking the garlic butter into the bread first, you create a perfect foundation for the melted cheese.
The double toasting is the key to this recipe. Baking it twice gives you a crispy bottom and a melted top.
This bread is good on its own as an appetizer or open-faced "grilled" cheese sandwich. You can also pair it with your favorite soup or salad to complete a meal. Don't even get me started on adding it to an Italian feast. In my estimation, the table wouldn't be complete without it!
Enjoy!

Just Yum!
