The Appetite For Life Cooking Club

Are you in a cooking rut?
Do you have cooking questions, and you just can't find reliable answers...when you need them?
"This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook - try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun." ~ Julia Child

Whether you've been cooking for 6 months or 60 years, there is always something to learn.
The problem can be staying inspired, finding reliable information (I've read loads of recipes with missing ingredients), and having a community of people to tap into for their expertise.
Well, come in from the cold, grab something to sip on, and get to know others in the same situation. Imagine gathering around a country kitchen for a cup of tea and a chat. That pretty much describes The Appetite for Life Cooking Club.
What is The Appetite for Life Cooking Club?
It is the membership site for Appetite for Life...but more. It is a place to make friends, gather, share successes, and seek solutions when things don't go to plan. It is a place that is safe and warm. It is a place to laugh and have fun, all while cooking. 🍳

Got Questions - Here's some we frequently hear.
Why should I join the Appetite for Life Cooking Club?
Great question! What current members have said is that they love that I write recipes from real experience so you can trust them. I also do my research on other topics, so you can use what I share with confidence.
With all the information floating around the internet, it can get confusing even trying to figure out what to make for dinner. The Appetite for Life Cooking Club, provides a single place where you can get your questions answered with correct information, get inspired from others, and even share your expertise.
How much do I need to interact and engage?
That is primarily up to you. You can join in on the main Discussions page, asking and answering questions, sharing insights, etc. Or, just follow the conversations and pick up tips that can inspire your own cooking.
I'm not on Facebook and don't want to be. Is membership still worth it?
I totally get it. Facebook may not be your thing. Don't worry, you can still engage. The Weekly Whisk will give you opportunities to interact and get the recipes, tips, and insights like everyone else. Also, you can reply to any email, and Jen will reply directly... no middle person... no AI.
How is the group monitored?
Great question. In the age of flashy websites that gather your information so they can spam you with marketing, this membership is a private group that is actively monitored daily by Jen.
Not only that, all of the recipes, articles, and tips on the Appetite for Life website are free from advertising. This can help you feel secure engaging with the site, using the recipes, and enjoying the resources provided to you.
You may have been in other memberships or social media groups where people get nasty or try to sell you stuff. That behavior will not be tolerated in the Appetite for Life Cooking Club, and we work to create the opposite experience. It is a place where you can come that is safe, supportive, and a true community of people. Remember that country kitchen I mentioned above? Well, that's what we're creating together.
The other component is that the membership to the club is deliberately kept small and grows slowly so everyone can get to know one another. We attract kind and generous members. I will not tolerate members only focused on self-promotion. I want you to feel like you can come here to rest, relax, learn, and inspire others. If that sounds like a place you want to be, consider joining us.
I'm new to cooking. Is the Appetite for Life Cooking Club for me?
Absolutely. There are articles on the basics, such as how to cook a hard-boiled egg or perfect rice every time. Then as your cooking skills increase, there will be other recipes to inspire your cooking.
What if I want to cancel my membership?
That is no problem. All you need to do is let Jen know, and she will cancel your membership. You will be immediately removed from the Facebook Group; however, you will still have access to The Weekly Whisk until the end of your subscription time.
How many recipes will I have access to as a Club Member?
There are over 400 recipes on the Appetite for Life site, plus many being added each week. In addition, there are articles with tips, how-to's, focus on specific ingredients, and local restaurant and product reviews. There is always something new to be found.
What Does the Appetite for Life Cooking Club Cost?
The cost of the Appetite for Life Cooking Club is not as expensive as you think.
Most membership sites cost $20 or more per month to join or over $200 per year. I wanted to provide a safe, nurturing space that helps everyone build their cooking confidence. Plus on many of those sites, the owner rarely shows up, has someone else monitoring it, or it is full of AI generated posts. Not here.
This is a group of real people, with a real, and present owner, full of real-lived experiences. It may feel as though there is a catch, but I can guarantee it isn't. If you are interested in talking to an existing member, let me know and I'll set something up.
I'm always adding new items and recipes, so if you want to ask me about anything new, feel free to reach out.
I Give You Time To Get Comfortable
What's also unique is that I add members gradually to the site, so the time to join isn't always open. This allows me time to get to know you better and for you to feel comfortable in the group.
If you are interested and membership isn't available right now, join the waiting list.
