Who doesn't love the classic combination of peanut butter and chocolate? I'm so excited to share my recipe for Peanut Butter and Chocolate Blondies with you today! These will become a staple in your house.
Inspired by a great recipe from King Arthur Baking, these are truly better than your average blondie—they are amazing, soft in the center and crispy at the edges.
The basic dough itself is wonderfully buttery, making it the perfect foundation for customization. While my favorite is peanut butter and chocolate chips, feel free to mix things up with different add-ins like toasted walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts. You could also try white chocolate chips, dried cranberries, toffee bits, chopped up pretzels, or even toasted coconut! Plus, you can bake these easily in a 9 x 13 baking dish or a cast-iron skillet for something different and serve them in wedges.
I shared these with some colleagues, and they were the first bars to go. People came back for seconds and thirds.
