Years ago, one fall I worked at a local farmstand. I’d had commercial baking experience and so when they asked me to make pumpkin pies for the farmstand, I was thrilled. It was so gratifying to see people buy my pies. The life lesson here is to be open to the possibilities that are offered. You never know where they may take you. This week we're talking about different dinners to pair with pumpkin pie outside of Thanksgiving. And as a bonus: Here's my pumpkin pie recipe.
