There's something truly special about a farmer's market – the vibrant atmosphere, the friendly faces, and the incredible array of local treasures just waiting to be discovered. I'm always on the hunt for culinary gems, and let me tell you, the Attleboro Farmers Market in Attleboro, MA, is an absolute must-visit!
A Hub of Local Businesses - Attleboro Farmer's Market
This market is a fantastic showcase for the incredible talent and dedication of local farmers, artisans, and small businesses. You'll find a diverse range of vendors, offering everything from farm-fresh produce (which was amazing) and succulent meats to artisanal crafts and unique prepared foods. Some of my favorites included:
MACS Boutique Cork (AMAZING bags and jewelry from cork)
Night Owl Farm (who was so helpful to everyone who stopped by, offering cooking and growing tips)
Venier Forge - offering knife sharpening while you shop.
Because vendors change, on any given Saturday, you might discover businesses selling delightful maple syrup, refreshing lemonade, beautiful ceramics, aromatic Thai cuisine, and rich coffee. Beyond the food, there are also handcrafted items like jewelry, candles, and tie-dye, making it a perfect spot to find a one-of-a-kind gift. The variety truly makes each visit an adventure!
Treats to Tempt Your Taste Buds
Oh, the treats! This is where the Attleboro Farmers Market truly shines for a food lover. Beyond the bountiful fresh fruits and vegetables, you can indulge in an incredible selection of homemade jams, delicious baked goods like pies, cookies, and cakes, and even refreshing boba tea and fresh-squeezed juices. The bakery booths all had lines, so if you are looking for freshly-baked breads and other yummy treats, plan accordingly.
Keep an eye out for unique offerings such as infused honey and specialties from vendors like Lil' Rhody Coffee Company, Dee's Little Sweets, The Perfect Empanada, and Mei Mei Dumplings. What I love most about these small businesses is that in many cases, you can’t find their delicious treats anywhere except their small shops, commercial kitchens, or at farmers’ markets. This makes visiting the markets special.
Additionally, there are food trucks at the market serving everything from tacos to cannolis! Who would have thought of a cannoli truck!
Plan Your Visit!
Ready to experience this local gem for yourself? The Attleboro Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM, rain or shine. The 2025 season kicks off on June 21st and runs through October 18th. You can find all this local goodness at 947 Park Street in Attleboro, behind the overflow parking field at La Salette Shrine.
Supporting the Attleboro Farmers Market means supporting local businesses and enjoying the freshest, most delicious products our community has to offer. I highly recommend adding this vibrant market to your weekend plans!
