Spicy Roasted Tomato Sauce
I discovered this delicious sauce one Summer when I had too many tomatoes and jalapeños and didn’t know what to do with them. Tah Dah...a spicy sauce you can use on its own or as a base for other dishes.
This sauce freezes extremely well, so consider putting it in small jars or plastic containers. That way, you'll have a zing of summer to add to any dish all year long.
What I love most is how easy this Spicy Roasted Tomato Sauce is. The oven does all the work. Don't skip the step of scraping all the bits of the pan up with water. It really is the key to the depth of flavor of the sauce.
